I’ve seen homes where statuario floors looked stunning even after six years because owners treated it like a premium item, not a public platform.

That said, if your house has kids, pets, and zero patience, this marble will test you emotionally. Scratches show. Etching happens. That’s part of the character, some say. Others lose sleep over it. Depends on personality honestly.

Is it worth it or just hype

Personal opinion here, slightly biased maybe. If budget is tight and you’re stretching just for the name, don’t. You’ll stress over every stain and regret it. But if you’re already in the premium range and want something timeless, statuario holds value aesthetically. It doesn’t feel trendy, which is rare these days.
